By ‘No grass, low maintenance, and a shaded area’ were the requests of the owners for this small urban backyard. It’s now a stylish modern space for this young family to enjoy and entertain in. Great lines and visual interest were created with the mix of horizontal and vertical custom cut fencing and a pergola.
This project also included a flagstone patio, simple gardens with low maintenance perennials and columnar beech trees, an existing porch redo, a BBQ landing area, pea gravel, a flagstone walkway to the alley, and a gate.
This backyard is now easy on the eyes and easy to look after!
