We came back to work on the front yard after completing the backyard for these lovely clients the next year. While they had wanted a more zen-like feel for the back, for the front they wanted a more colourful butterfly and bee garden which they had the opportunity for with the full sun there. As well as installing a spaced natural flagstone path, front retaining wall, and irrigation in the front yard, perennial gardens were expanded in the front and side yards.

Two opposing hydrangea tree forms were planted to frame the front entrance; many pollinator plants were planted such as; echinacea, butterfly bush, lavender, yarrow, daylilies, anemone, speedwell; and hostas, hakone, coral bells and ferns were planted under the trees in shady spots along the side of the house. Such inviting gardens to enjoy now all around this house!
